Come along to this FREE curriculum event from 3.00pm to 4.30pm where we will be discussing and answering questions about our new curriculum offer for adults aged 19+.

We have an extensive range of qualifications suitable for adults aged 19+. They are designed for varying needs - whether people are looking for their first job, are unemployed and needing to enhance their employability, wanting a career change or already employed but need to gain qualifications to upskill and help their career development.

Take a look at what we offer.

Digital Skills and Computing

Employability Skills and Vocational Progression

Short courses

Health, Wellbeing and Social Care

Horticulture, Environmental and Animal Care

Customer Service and Retail

Our qualifications range from those aimed at beginners (Entry Level), to foundation (Level 1), intermediate (Level 2) and advanced (Level 3 and above).

National priorities are likely to focus more on NEETs (not in education, employment or training) learners. Our qualifications in Employability Skills are ideal for ‘back to employment’ or ‘steps to employment’ courses, for people who are looking for their first job, wanting a career change or are unemployed.

We also offer bespoke accreditation to organisations that run their own training programmes and courses. This means that employers that you are working in partnership with can get their training accredited and provide their employees with a certificate of achievement that is accredited by a national awarding organisation – OCN London.

Funding information

Most of our qualifications are eligible for funding from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). There are two different funding streams for adult learners (aged 19+) – the Adult Education Budget and Advanced Learner Loan Budget. Click for further information on each qualification.

Take advantage of the government’s new educational policy for FREE courses for low earners

The Education and Skills Funding Agency (in May 2018) announced that Adult Education Budget providers will now be able to fully fund learners who are employed, earning less than £15,736 annual gross salary or who cannot contribute towards the cost of co-funding fees. The new rule means that low earners who are eligible for co-funding under local flexibility funding can be fully funded. The new rules will run for a trial period of one year, starting from September 2018.
