Learning at Work Week is an annual awareness campaign organised by the Campaign for Learning. Now in its 18th year, it aims to put the spotlight on the importance and benefits of learning and development in the workplace. Central to the campaign is a mission to widen opportunities for learning to all employees, particularly those who may not be engaged with learning of any kind. The theme this year is CONNECT.
We are the proud sponsors of the Learning at Work Week Impact Award for ‘Inspiring Learning for All’. For this Award, we are looking for entries from companies and organisations that show imagination and innovation in the way they encourage people who would not normally be involved in learning, particularly at work.
There are two awards – one for a large organisation and one for a small or medium-sized organisation. Judges will look for evidence of how you deliver imaginative and innovative approaches which engage colleagues and address barriers which may prevent them from learning at work. Judges are also keen to see how you evaluate the impact of your activities and how they result in long-term benefits.
To be eligible to enter, you will need to run an activity under the Learning at Work Week banner. This can be during Learning at Work Week itself (16-22 May) or at any time up until the deadline for application which is 22 July 2016. The winner will receive a glass engraved trophy to recognise their achievement along with publicity.
