Perfect for summer term staff CPD – new Level 3 Award in Technology for Teaching and Learning

Discover how to enhance your lessons and engage your learners using digital technology with our new Level 3 Award in Technology for Teaching and Learning. Developed to meet the recommendations provided by the FELTAG (Further Education Learning Technology Action Group) report, this qualification can help you or your staff to develop the skills and knowledge to use a range of online tools to support lesson planning and delivery that will help inspire and stimulate your learners. By completing this qualification, you or your staff will learn how to

  • use mobile devices to produce and share multimedia content
  • communicate with learners and colleagues via social media
  • use audio and video tools to create podcasts
  • employ cloud based software and virtual learning environments to store and share files and content
  • make use of digital technology to aid assessment and feedback.

Comprising of 36 GLH (Guided Learning Hours) and 12 credits, the qualification is a perfect short, summer term CPD option for teaching practitioners and can be delivered in variety of learning situations, including as a short course offer for a few hours a week or as a more intensive course.
