Access to HE learners to benefit from partnership agreement with London South Bank University

A new partnership agreement with London South Bank University will give students studying for OCN London Access to HE Diplomas guaranteed conditional offers below the standard entry requirements. Six Schools at the University are participating offering lower admissions requirements. They are The Schools of Arts and Creative Industries, Applied Sciences, Built Environment and Architecture, Business, Engineering, and Law and Social Sciences. For example a candidate applying for an honours degree in law (LLB) would normally be expected to achieve 9 distinctions and 27 merits, whereas those working towards OCN London Access to HE Diplomas would only need to gain 6 distinctions and 21 merits as a general rule.

London South Bank University also offers a range of additional support provided by the university, such as two to three day workshops to help learners with the extended project and aid their transition from colleges into degree programmes.

What we are able to offer with this partnership agreement is a common arrangement, for all the colleges that run our Access to HE courses. This will provide learners with unique admissions opportunities and a seamless route from college into university.

The deadline for UCAS applications is 15 January 2016, but there is still time to apply to London South Bank University through our partnership agreement.
