Created for learning support practitioners or those looking to work in this area, our new suite of Skills for Learning Support Practitioners qualifications provide the vital skills and knowledge required to provide effective support for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities.
Alongside learning about the role of the learning support practitioner in the classroom, these new qualifications also offer learners the option to focus their study on supporting particular learning difficulties and/or disabilities including:
- autism spectrum conditions
- profound and multiple learning disabilities
- sight loss (partially sighted or blind)
- deafness or hearing loss.
Learners can also opt to study areas such as safeguarding and positive behaviour management in the classroom.
