ACCESS TO HE AND PRE-ACCESS JANUARY STARTS

Kickstart your route to higher education in 2022 with Access to HE diplomas and Pre-Access programmes!

Access to HE course

Our Access to HE Education Diploma courses are designed to provide the underpinning knowledge and skills needed to progress to a degree or diploma course in higher education. They are truly life-changing as they enable adults who do not have the necessary level 3 qualifications (such as ‘A’ levels) required to enter higher education to acquire the Access to HE Diploma, which is equivalent in standard to these qualifications.

3 reasons to start an Access to HE course in January 2022

  • These courses provide a great deal of flexibility because they offer a variety of study options to fit around any other obligations you may have, such as a job or a family. You can complete an Access to HE Diploma in one year if you study full-time, in two or more years if you study part-time, or in two terms if you select a fast-track programme.
  • Access to HE courses are fully funded for learners aged 19+. Student Finance England will ‘write off’ any outstanding Advanced Learner Loan balances you owe for an Access to HE course once you complete a higher education course. This means you do not have to repay it.
  • An Access to HE diploma can help you to access the employment opportunities and university places currently available.
