The National Youth Theatre of Great Britain is a world-leading youth arts organisation. We were established in 1956 as the first youth theatre in the world and over the past 57 years we have nurtured the talent of hundreds of thousands of young people.

Access to HE Diploma (Theatre Arts)
The Playing Up Course is a Level 3 Access to HE in Theatre Arts Programme. Playing Up is aimed at working with young people aged 19-23 years who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEETS). It is a practical drama course that works with industry professionals in a professional environment. 85% of the Playing Up students have progressed into HE and employment in the 6 years that it has been running.
Attendance: Day (3 days per week)
Progression: HE, FE and employment. Drama schools such as Central School of Speech and Drama, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Bristol Old Vic, Arts Ed, Rose Bruford and RADA.
