About this qualification

Qualifications in Level 2 Skills for Professions in Business, Administration and Finance aim to provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to progress to further study related to business, administration and finance and ultimately to work in these or related sectors. The qualifications are available as an Award, Certificate and Extended Certificate.

The Level 2 Award is a bite-sized qualification which acts as a ‘taster’ for those wishing to explore vocational study alongside learning skills, while the Certificate and Extended Certificates are more substantial qualifications which provide learners with the opportunity to consolidate and extend their learning in preparation for further vocational learning, into employment or an apprenticeship.
