About this qualification
The OCNLR Entry Level Award and Certificate in Horticulture Skills (Entry 3) focus on horticulture skills with up-to-date units which reflect current practice and trends within the industry (i.e. an emphasis on hydroponics, sustainable practice, organic practices and produce).
Both qualifications are fully flexible, providing learners with subject-specific knowledge and skills in addition to transferable skills for life and work including entrepreneurship, building working relationships, planning and evaluation.
The purpose of the qualifications is to enhance progression routes for learners within the industry and onto further related qualifications. The qualifications will also appeal to learners wishing to develop their horticultural skills as part of their own personal development or interest.
