Is this the right qualification for you?

The Access to Higher Education Diploma (Music Technology) is a Level 3 qualification which prepares people without traditional qualifications for study at university.

The qualification gives you the relevant academic knowledge and creative skills needed for higher education study and the opportunity to develop study skills to help you to succeed.

Learners primarily progress to Higher Education study in areas related to Music Technology. These may include some of the following areas of Degree level study:

  • Music Production
  • Music Performance
  • Music Industry Studies
  • Audio Recording and a range of combined and related degrees.

Some colleges may also offer progression on to their own Foundation Degrees or Higher National Diplomas (HND) in Music.
