Is this the right qualification for you?
The Access to Higher Education Diploma (Science) is a Level 3 qualification which prepares people without traditional qualifications for study at university.
It is designed for:
- adults with a current or previous role or interest in a science related area;
- adults who, because of social, educational or individual circumstances, were unable to participate in or benefit from initial education;
- adults from groups under-represented in higher education;
- adults seeking a change of direction because of unemployment or lack of career opportunities in their previous field and who have a demonstrable interest in entering a science related profession.
Learners primarily progress to Higher Education study in areas related to Science. These may include some of the following areas of Degree level study: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Pharmacy, Radiography, Biomedical Sciences, Ecology, Nutrition, Mathematics and a range of related degrees.

Where can you study this Access to HE Diploma?
Access to HE Diplomas are delivered by OCN London centres including Further Education Colleges, and Adult and Community Education Centres. The following centres are approved to deliver this qualification:
